EARLY RISING AND ITS EFFECT



What is Early Rising? This is the ability of an individual to wake on time on a daily basis, this happens around 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM. Some people see it as a form of punishment, they feel that’s the time they enjoy their sleep more as they don’t feel like getting off the bed. While interview with some prominent people in the society has shown that, early rising was one of their secret to success.

It is believed that early risers tend to anticipate problems and try to minimize them because they are proactive. Many studies has linked this ‘’proactive’’ traits to better job performance and in turn greater career success and higher wages subsequently. When you start working early in the morning, you tend to finish on time.

Furthermore, Randler studies have shown that early risers are more active, persistent, cooperative, agreeable, conscientious and pro active. Example is someone who resumes work at 8:00 AM, waking up early will help you put everything in order. You will have time to do your exercise that will keep you active and going throughout the day, you would also have time to tend to home chores and other issues before getting ready for work. 

Waking up early will automatically reset your circadian clock so you would have to sleep early. Studies has also shown that when you go to bed early, your brain would be well rested and you would see the world more clearly and react to it more calmly thereby making you smarter.

  • It gives a calm start of the day
  • You will have time for proper breakfast
  • You would become more productive
  • You would also have time to work out and tend to other miscellaneous
  • You would be able to catch the view of an early morning sunrise
